Gardaí have seized approximately 590,000 euro worth of suspected cannabis and cocaine in Mitchelstown.
One man has been arrested.

"Following a Stop-And-Search of a car in Mitchelstown at around 20-past-2 yesterday afternoon, Gardaí seized approximately €590,000 euro of suspected cannabis and cocaine.
Gardaí with the Fermoy Roads Policing Unit stopped the car for road traffic offences while carrying out a checkpoint.
During a search of the car, Gardaí found approximately €380,000 of cannabis and €210,000 of cocaine.
This is subject to analysis.
The driver, a man in his late 40s, was arrested and the car was seized.
He was taken to Fermoy Garda Station, where he is currently detained under the Drug Trafficking Act.
The investigation is ongoing.
