Gardaí will inspect all pubs in the area around Croke Park ahead of tomorrow's All Ireland football semi final.
It follows crowds gathering on the streets, drinking and celebrating after the hurling final, and reported breaches within licensed premises.
24-thousand fans can attend the match which sees Kerry take on Tyrone, and gardaí say temporary closure orders will be enforced if needed.
Gardaí have confirmed they are carrying out inquiries into alleged breaches of Covid Regulations at one premises last Sunday.
The investigation is ongoing and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
