The Government's strategy on sexual and gender based violence has been delayed by a number of weeks.
It is expected to increase the number of refuge beds and overhaul the justice system in an effort to support survivors.
The Irish Examiner reports the document won't be completed until April as consultations are taking longer than anticipated.
Minister for Justice Helen McEntee had previously said the strategy would be ready next month.
