Over 4,000 children are expected to descend on MTU this morning for the Cork Primary Schools Sports event.
Participants from over 300 schools are taking part in the annual event which runs from 10am - 5pm.
Listeners are advised that traffic is expected to be very heavy in the area as a result.
Gardai and stewards will be on duty and people are being asked to park in designated areas only and car pool where possible to minimise traffic volume.
