Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene on Douglas Street at around 7:25pm.
CCTV posted to social media following the incident shows an out of control SUV hit another car which then runs into a delivery cyclist's bike and briefly pins him against a third car.
The man is seen to limp before laying on the road.
The car involved briefly stops before driving off. Gardaí have confirmed that the driver did not return to the scene.
