The incredible people of Cork have pledged over €22,000 within an hour to send Abbey Murphy Weir (7) to her appointment tomorrow. Abbey has a bowel problem which leads her to vomit her own excrement. She was due to go to Great Ormond tomorrow but it was cancelled at the last minute. Thanks to the people of Cork, she can go. We are awaiting a response from The Minister for Health. We speak to Nichola in The Forge Road Cafe in Blackpool, whose shop front window was blown in by a joyrider overnight. We speaki to Stephen who says "Disgraceful sight in the playground at the lough this morning. Some people don't have a shred of decency" after he came across piles of litter. We also speak about a Traveller family who has vowed to resist any attempts to force their removal from a site in Cork City after a standoff with armed gardaí yesterday.
