A man is due in court charged in connection with a fatal assault in Limerick city.
Alan Burke was discovered with serious injuries following an attack last Friday night - he later died in hospital.
The 48-year-old's funeral took place in Limerick city yesterday.
A man aged in his 30s, who was arrested yesterday, is due before a Special Sitting of Ennis District Court this evening.
A second man aged in his 30s, who was also arrested yesterday, remains in custody in Henry Street Garda Station.
