A man who was wrongly suspected of Ashling Murphy's murder says he has been inundated with online threats.
Radu Floricel told the Irish Daily Mail that he couldn't believe it when he was arrested on Wednesday.
However since then officers have confirmed that Radu was shopping in a local retail outlet when the school teacher was killed.
He has since been released without charge and Gardaí have eliminated him from the investigation.
However the paper reports that photos of Radu are circulating on social media regardless, and threatening messages have even been sent to his solicitor.
