A new study suggests the wealthiest one per cent of the world's population emit as much CO2 as the poorest two-thirds.
Oxfam - which compiled the report - reckons it would take 15-hundred years for someone in the bottom 99 percent to produce as much carbon as the most well-off billionaires.
The charity says it proves the super-rich are plundering the planet - while the poor "pay the price".
