A politician in the Philippines wants 'ghosting' to become an official crime.
'Ghosting' is the act of completely cutting communication with a romantic interest, without any explanation.
Arn-olfo Teves Jr, a member of the Nationalist People's Coalition in the Phillipines, says 'ghosting is "a form of spite that develops feelings of rejection and neglect".
And he says perpetrators should be punished for emotional cruelty.
