In the heart of West Cork, art is central to everything, and the Skibbereen Arts Festival which starts this weekend is there to showcase the amazing talent and creativity.
The festival runs from the 16th of October to the 28th of October, 2021.
The annual festival is committed to presenting the best local, national and international artists, across all genres, in an affordable and accessible manner.
Whether it’s music, film, spoken word, dance, workshops, theatre, art, wellbeing or outdoor events you’re looking for, the Skibbereen Arts Festival has it all.
Artists performing shows or workshops include Pauline O’Driscoll, Meta4 Dance Company, Samuel Beckett, End Notes Podcast, Siobhan McGibbon, Uillinn Artists in Residence and many many more.
Events take place in the following locations: Abbeystrewry Church, Abbeystrewry Hall, Skibbereen Heritage Centre, The Bridge, The Old Quay, The Riverside, North Street and Uillinn : West Cork Arts Centre.
