The rate of refusals for housing offers in Cork City has increased

The Irish Examiner report that the rate has almost doubled over the past four years.

Among the top reasons given for refusing a housing offer were the area being unsuitable, the property being unsuitable or the property being too small, while no reason was given in 10% of cases.

983 offers were processed last year, with 279 being refused.
