Outdoor dining was one of the more successful policies arising from COVID-19, according to the Tourism minister.
Officials anticipate the number of visitors to Ireland this year will be at around 80 percent of pre-pandemic levels.
They're currently holding the Meitheal trade event in Killarney, inviting tour operators from 19 different countries.
Tourism Minister Catherine Martin believes things like outdoor dining will be a permanent fixture going forward:
"Some of the outdoor schemes that that were there in 2021, in fact some of the expenditure is still working out into 2022. I think, you can also look at that the arts, the culture and music festivals will be a real attraction to tourists. We even have the Fleadh returning to its home in Mullingar. That is a major tourism attraction."
