The entire country will be impacted by weather warnings today, as Storm Darragh tracks towards the country.
A Status Yellow wind warning kicks in for Cork and the rest of the country at 3pm and will upgrade to an Orange alert at 8 o clock.
Meanwhile red alerts have been issued in the north and northwest of the country.
Cathal Nolan from Ireland's Weather Channel says powerful winds are expected:
"Certainly, this is a powerful storm, we will see strong winds across the country."
