People in at-risk categories are entitled to a vaccine free of charge at participating GPs and pharmacies.
They include those aged over 60, healthcare workers, pregnant women, and children aged between 2 and 17.
Last year, over 4,000 people were hospitalised with flu, and 214 died with the virus.
