A woman in her 60's who is understood to have lain dead in a house at Brookfield Lawn in the Lough for at least a year has been named locally.
Joyce O'Mahony's body was found yesterday afternoon.
The woman in her 60's was found after pest control services were called to a property nearby.
They then went to another home which they thought was the source of a vermin problem.

The area was sealed off and investigation was launched by Gardaí.
There was no sign of forced entry at the house and foul play has been ruled out.
