More than half of Irish workers are concerned choosing remote working would create inequality.
Of those, 38% worry they'll be asked to take a pay cut and 60% fear career progress will slow.
The Matrix Recruitment Workplace Equality Survey also shows 85% of workers are in favour of a four-day working week.
Breda Dooley from Matrix Recruitment says they're also concerned about working remotely full-time.
"The respondents feared that if they decided to work remotely they would be forgotten.
"52% were fearful that they'd be forgotten about during meetings if they chose to work remotely.
"48% of the people surveyed considered that maybe their boss would think they maybe weren't as committed to the company if they decided to work remotely."
